The last time I watched this video, I suddenly realized that Mark Hudson was in it, and then I discovered that he was a co-writer of the song. Today, I noticed Greg Bisonette was playing drums in the shots where Ringo is up front singing, and then I noticed that Ringo says "Take it away, Eric" just before the guitar solo, and I was trying to figure out who Eric was, but suddenly I started listening to the solo and then I noticed his guitar and it just hit me that this was an Eric Clapton solo, but the dude in the video doesn't look like Eric Clapton. Is it him?

I've been using this song to comfort me when things go really, REALLY bad for me, and it works everytime; as such, this is definitely my favorite song from any of the Beatles' solo careers, and possibly even my favorite of all their works as a whole, together or solo.

The other version is FAR, FAR better. THERE we get to see George and his good friend, visually it's the theme of the entire song. Here it's just a beautiful, tear inducing song, but George is barely present. A few tiny grainy pieces of footage in a movie camera. It totally misses the point. You lose all the feeling of a man who misses his friend. LOVE the tribute\song. HATE the video.
